Dubai-based Jordanian lightweight Bader Samreen, with an unbeaten record of 8 wins (7 by knockout), will face Mexico’s Jose Paez Gonzales in the main event of the Rising Stars Arabia fight card at the Mubadala Arena on Saturday. Samreen, a 2018 AIBA Youth World Championships bronze medallist, is excited for the opportunity and has studied his opponent extensively with his coach. He began boxing at 12 and had a successful amateur career before turning professional in 2021. He met his manager, Ahmed Al Seddiqi, on social media and is grateful for the opportunity to pursue his dream. Joining Samreen from Round 10 Boxing Gym is UAE’s Sultan Al Nuaimi, who also puts his undefeated record on the line against Tanzanian Jemsi Kibazange. Al Nuaimi, who had to take a break due to a fractured thumb, is now employed with Dubai Police and is ready for the biggest fight of his career.
